Finding Creative Ways to Exercise

Do you sit at your desk all day? Whether your desk is in your own home or in an office, try adding some fitness into your day to re-energize your body and mind.

Keep a 5 lb weight near by for slow biceps curls 10 on each side twice or three times per day. Can be done while on a conference call.

Take the stairs versus the elevator whenever possible.

Do triceps dips while you wait for your coffee to reheat. Turn your back to the counter, hands on counter, elbows bent and slowly dip till your thighs are parallel to the ground.

Squats are quick and easy and they are good for your legs too. Stand up at your desk, extend your arms and bend your knees. Go up and down and repeat.

Talk a walk -- go to the restroom, walk to talk to a co-worker or take a walk around the block. This will help you clear your head and keep your hand out of the cookie jar.
